Doris J. "Doe" (Boniface) Lauritzen

Doris J. "Doe" (Boniface) Lauritzen,  age 90, of Altoona, formerly of Crafton, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 3, 2024.  Beloved wife of 64 years to the late John F. Lauritzen, Sr.  Loving mother of Kathleen (Kent) Kirkham, Carole (Charles) Jordan, Gloria (Ed) DiPasquale, John F "Jack" (Christine) Lauritzen, Jr., Linda L. McMurray, Steven P. (Kenny Becher) Lauritzen, and Joseph P. (Danielle) Lauritzen;   also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.  Doris was preceded in death by her parents Alexander and Alvina (Cook) Boniface and siblings Alex, Irene, Robert, Walter, Anna Mae, Joan, Lois, and Ruth and one granddaughter Bethany  She was feisty and funny.  Doris was very devoted to her family and will be dearly missed.  Relatives and friends received Sunday, April 7, 2024, from 1-3 & 6-8 PM at SCHEPNER-McDERMOTT FUNERAL HOME, INC., 165 Noble Avenue, Crafton where a Funeral Prayer will be held Monday, April 8, 2024, at 11 AM.  Contributions in Doris' memory may be made to The Ataxia Foundation, 7701 Golden Valley Road #27986, Golden Valley, MN 55427 or (www.ataxia.org).
